TriPack
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how TriPack collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the TriPack mobile application.
1. Who We Are
TriPack is provided by the app developer ("we", "us", or "our"). If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or our privacy practices, you can contact us at dev4native.app@gmail.com.
2. Information We Collect
Information stored locally on your device
- Trip names, travel dates, countries, visited countries, and packing list items.
- Optional item notes, bag type selections, quantities, and reminder settings.
- Optional photos you choose or capture for trips and items.
This information is used inside the app and stored locally on your device. We do not collect this content on our own servers as part of the normal operation of TriPack.
Information we do not ask you to provide directly
TriPack does not require account registration, and we do not ask you to create a profile or provide your name, phone number, address, or contact list through the app.
Information collected automatically
- App usage analytics, including screens viewed and in-app actions.
- Basic technical information that may be collected by analytics or purchase SDKs, such as device and app metadata.
Information related to purchases or subscriptions
The app includes RevenueCat SDK integration for subscription or purchase-related functionality. If paid features are enabled in the app, RevenueCat and the relevant app store may process purchase status information and subscription-related metadata. We do not directly collect or store your full payment card details in TriPack.
3. How We Use Information
- To create and manage your trips, packing lists, visited countries, and saved preferences.
- To store optional photos and reminder settings locally on your device when you choose to use them.
- To send local reminders that you schedule in the app.
- To understand app usage and improve product quality, features, and reliability.
- To support purchase, subscription, or entitlement functionality if offered.
4. Where Your Data Is Stored
Most of the information you add in TriPack is stored locally on your device using local storage, including SQLite and app storage mechanisms. This includes trip data, visited countries, packing items, certain settings, and onboarding state.
Photos you choose or capture in the app may be copied into the app's local document storage on your device.
We do not operate a user-content cloud backend for TriPack at this time, so your trip details and optional photos are not uploaded to our servers during normal app use.
5. Permissions We Request
- Camera: to let you take photos for trip or item images.
- Photo library / media access: to let you choose photos from your device.
- Notifications: to send reminders that you explicitly schedule.
You can deny or revoke these permissions in your device settings, but some app features may no longer work as expected.
6. Third-Party Services
TriPack uses third-party services that may process certain information:
- PostHog, for product analytics such as app opens, screen views, and in-app events.
- RevenueCat, for purchase/subscription infrastructure and entitlement management if paid features are offered.
- Apple App Store and/or Google Play, for app distribution and any in-app purchase processing.
These third parties may have their own privacy notices and terms that govern how they process information.
7. Analytics
If analytics is enabled in the app build, TriPack sends usage events to PostHog. These events may include app screens, button taps, list interactions, selected countries, and similar product-usage information.
This analytics data is separate from the personal trip content you store in the app locally. We do not use analytics to upload your private photos or the full contents of your packing lists as user content.
We use this information to understand how people use the app, improve features, prioritize product work, and diagnose issues.
8. Sharing Features
TriPack lets you create and share trip content, including text, image, and PDF exports. When you use these features, the content is generated from the information you stored in the app and then shared using your device's native sharing tools.
Content is only shared when you choose to use a share action.
9. Data Retention
Information stored locally in the app remains on your device until you delete it, clear the app's data, uninstall the app, or use any in-app delete/clear functionality.
Analytics or purchase-related data handled by third-party providers may be retained according to those providers' own retention policies.
10. Your Choices
- You can edit or delete trips, items, categories, and visited countries inside the app.
- You can disable notifications in your device settings.
- You can stop granting camera or photo access in your device settings.
- You can uninstall the app or clear local app data to remove locally stored information from your device.
11. Children's Privacy
TriPack is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us at dev4native.app@gmail.com.
12. International Users
Depending on the third-party services used in your version of the app, some information may be processed outside your country of residence. Where required, we rely on the applicable safeguards used by those service providers.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may update the effective date above and publish the revised version through the app, our website, or the app store listing, as appropriate.
